You need to have had previous German Shepherd experience in order to adopt one of these Shepherds. German Shepherds are not for everyone. Most German Shepherds are not going to do well with cats. They are herding dogs and most will give chase to anything that runs. I do not test these dogs with cats. I do not test these German Shepherds with children. If one comes in and the previous owner tells me the dog was raised around kids or cats I will post that in their bio. Rikki is coming along nicely. He has been back to the vet and his hair is growing in and he is still as sweet as the day I picked him up out of the kill shelter. He is around 4 to 5 years old and will weigh up close to 100lbs. He rode lose in the rescue van and did great. He laid down for the hour drive to the vets office. At one time he pawed at the side door and looked at me. I got him out and he ran over to a grassy area and took care of business and then jumped back into the van. So he could be house broke. Rikki is good with other dogs. He has been with other male dogs and female dogs and small dogs to large dogs and was ok. He is good on a leash and will sit and give you a high five. This boy will make someone a nice dog.
